Birders,
Just a quick note to report seeing a flock of 5 Cedar Waxwings from the
Hickory Hill boat ramp at Falls Lake (Durham Co., NC) yesterday (22 June
03) while on a family canoe outing! Waxwings are fairly rare breeders
in this area.
Also enjoyed a couple calling Ospreys and was even entertained by a drake
Mallard that seemed "wild" hanging out in a cove of a sheltered remote
peninsula.
Good birding,
Jeff
