Passerines were abundant and active this morning at Patriot's Point near
the pumphouse that has been mentioned in previous posts. Nine species
of warblers were observed: Magnolia, Common Yellowthroat, Yellow,
Yellow-throated, Prairie, Black-and-White, Prothotary, American
Redstart, and Northern Parula. One Empidonx spp. was observed, but not
identified. Common yellowthroats, blue-gray gnatcatchers, and redstarts
were the most abundant.
