Hickory CBC Birds

The Carolina Bird Club meeting in Hickory was a great success! We ended up
with 123 species after an addition this morning of Orange-crowned Warbler at
the Wagner Property. We also had a possible Yellow-bellied Flycatcher,
but not a good enough look for a firm ID. The Two best birds of the weekend
were the WESTERN KINGBIRD at the Wagner Property and a SCISSOR-TAILED
FLYCATCHER on Stagecoach Rd. near the town of Catawba. We went back to try
and relocate the ST Flycatcher, but couldn't find it. We had 23 species of
warbler for the weekend. The entire list for the weekend will soon be on
the CBC website. I want to thank everyone who helped with meeting. I
couldn't have done it without you!
