This morning I stopped on my way to work for about 10 minutes birding on the
American Tobacco Trail, which runs very close to my house. Pished up a male
BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER and a SWAINSON'S THRUSH.
Today at lunch, I went by Lake Crabtree, where I stumbled upon one flock
which easily had 8 or more CAPE MAY WARBLERS in it. I also found:
OVENBIRD
BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER
AMERICAN REDSTART
PINE WARBLER
MAGNOLIA WARBLER
NORTHERN PARULA
Good birding,
-Sandy
