Rail tides this weekend

Both mornings this coming weekend there will be extremely high tides (Charleston=6.9 feet and 7.1 feet respectively). So I recommend staking out rail funnel spots, ie gaps where they move from one section of salt marsh to another, from marsh to field, road edge, etc. Other birds fleeing the submerged Spartina might be ones like Seaside Sparrows and the Sharp-tailed Sparrows.

So if y'all know any such spots, give them a try this weekend. And keep those Great Egrets from gobbling Black Rails (non-interference be damned).
