Apparently fall Warbler migration isn't over yet.
While I was on a (successful) stakeout for the White-winged Dove in Dennis Forsythe's yard on James Island, the "Patagonia picnic table" effect produced a late Blackburnian Warbler. The female Blackburnian beat the previous SC coastal plain late record of October 29, set in 1976. The bird was in a mixed flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers, Kinglets and Carolina Chickadees.
Donna checked the yard list and it is a new yard bird for the Forsythes. I hope it sticks around until Dennis gets home...
