Come up and try it sometime.  Your opinion obviously has no basis in
experience.  Basically, it works best outside of major metro areas,
where you actually deal with oncoming traffic, winding roads, soft or
no shoulders, etc.  In the city, about the only use is on poor
visibility days when some idiots refuse to turn their lights on
themselves.
