Persio, Chris, Jack

Chris: Professional, columnist, UNCG graduate. I am an Administrative Assistant at Replacements Ltd. I also do some community activities such as the board of the Triad Business and Professional's Guild. I enjoy writing and write a monthly column in the Relish for the WS Journal on gay and lesbian topics. Other things that I enjoy doing are traveling, practicing my Spanish, reading, socializing and spending as much time as I can with family and friends. A large joy of mine is the outdoors -- camping and hiking and mountain biking.  I'm a huge history buff, love museums and theatre, politics and activism. I recently graduated from UNCG with my BA in History and Minor in Theatre.

Jack: Activist, politically involved, professional. I joined this project because it is vitally important to me that folks know that being gay is not something to be ashamed of. Being alive is a precious gift and we have such little time on this earth. I spent years thinking I was a not a person and deserved misery. Finding love of myself helped me find love for my community. Now, I celebrate life with a wonderful man at my side. I also celebrate the many wonderful people of this community who share amazing talents and gifts, both gay and straight. So, hi neighbor, I am gay and happy to be here to share.
