So Bob -

The more simple food resources that were added, the lower the oxygen was reduced by microbial growth. The microbial growth out-stripped the ability of your aerators to add air into the liquid. Kelp had the lowest "microbial growth" potential of the three foods you used, added fish was second, the fish-activated plus fish added was the lowest oxygen concentration.

The best fungal readings were in the kelp brew, no added fish.

Take - home message. Improve aeration in the bitti-brewers, or don't add any additional food resources besides kelp.

Bigger pumps?
