Judi,
Will you be requesting the data from these trials??? As per Elaines comment=
s regarding the fact that 1000% increase may be insignificant.
If this material was able to increase fungal biomass economically in soils =
it may be useful. We need the data to verify its activity first.
Regards Mike Harvey.

  Hello Peter,

Can you supply data on any lab tests you ran using your aloe vera in comp=
ost tea to achieve the percentages you're showing on your company's web sit=
e? (See below.)

Do you recommend using aloe vera on all crops?

Are you adding aloe vera at brew inception in the tank or the brew basket=
, or adding it after brewing, but before application?

What part of the plant do you use and what form is the aloe?

I'd like to be able to increase my compost tea's fungal numbers.

Thanks for any information you can pass along.

  Thank you,

  Judi

"Our first major research with aloe involved verification of Elaine Ingha=
m's findings in relation to the biostimulating capacity of the herb. NTS re=
search scientist, Peter Masasso, embarked on microbe brewing trials involvi=
ng varying additions of concentrated aloe vera. The results were outstandin=
g, with a 670% increase in total bacterial biomass over the control and a 1=
,340% increase in fungal biomass!

The aloe concentrate was then sent to a prominent microbiologist who had =
recently developed a state-of-the-art microbe food, for comparisons. Here, =
the simple aloe produced equivalent microbe counts to the expensive, 'champ=
agne' product, but the numbers appeared to reverse if the aloe was oversupp=
lied (consistent with the microbicide capacity of the aloin fraction). A di=
lution of 0.5% to 1% aloe appeared most productive as a microbe brewing add=
itive."
