---Correct me if I'm wrong BUT it seems to me the land grant
university taught me of the need for standard methods of testing
whether it be water and wastewater, dairy products, analytical
chemistry or simply cereal chemistry. I'm sure there are others too.
As in engineering. So why not here in testing  aerated compost tea?
There is the USP (united states Pharmacopia) for methods of testing 
whatever is that book. And BAM whatever that acronym exactly stands
for!! We'll never get anywhere with ACT without standard methods of
testing,IMO. Field trials can be good,IMO but those "scientists"
want testing so get standard methods approved and post them. ICTC???
