Gifted Young Writers' Classes for Ages 9-12

School was never like this! For eight weeks, Judith Toy will share
her passion for writing with a select group of schoolers and home
schoolers. Read the great writers of poems, essays and fiction,
and learn their techniques to make your own writing great. Classes
will culminate in a publication party and public reading! Learn,
Have Fun with Friends, and Stay inspired as you write side-by-side
with a professional writer who has a special interest in the creative
process of kids.

Poetry as a Pathway to the Divine

Philip is the author of Opposing Traffic Has Extended Green, a
book of poems, and Judith co-authored with her husband The Moon
Has a Mouth. Judith received the Dylan Thomas Poetry Award at the
New School for Social Research, New York City. She was also nominated
for the prestigious Pushcart Prize.
Join us as we explore in depth the poetry of two great writers,
one ancient and one modern:
Rumi
and
Denise Levertov
Let us quiet our minds and write together our own poem-prayers
from the heart.
