Re: Mass produced phonograph records



Many archives house small quantities of audio recordings, generally not mass
produced or else produced in relatively small quantities. For instance, the
university archives at which I work is happy to receive recordings of the
university choir that were originally produced for sale. However, they were
most likely never sold in a store. In time, these disappear. We hope to
collect at least one of each.
