I'm compiling a list of repository holdings on the social history of
World War II, i.e. personal papers, letters, dairies, manuscripts, and

Civilian Defense, OSS personnel, Merchant Marines, WASPs, etc.

[A great deal of military training was done at Clemson during the war--even
though Clemson was a publically-supported A&M college, it was run on
military lines and had a corps of cadets.]

University Archives Series 33 (Field Operations) and 51 (Photographs),
Cooperative Extension Service Records--material documents South Carolina
agriculture during the war.

University Archives Series 47, School of Textiles Dean's Office

We also have a collection of 501 (including copies) WWII posters and a

involved in the invention of the jeep.

I hope this helps.
