Re: Jobs

Resumes are now expected to contain a salary history? The last time I
revised my resume (about five years ago) they were still saying that it was
inappropriate to include the salaries from previous jobs. And why would the
salary you got for some other job description, in a very different economy
ten years ago, matter anyway?

It's all a part of the general crumbling of civilization around us:
Goliath-Mart buys your favorite trinket store (HMO, service station,
airline, etc.), remodels it without taste and restocks it with junk so you
can't stand to shop there any more, and then goes bankrupt and the
storefront becomes a Starbucks or a Central American Pentecostal church...

Oh, did I sound bitter?

requirement that all resumes must contain salary history to
even be read....
