Questions For University Archivists

Dear Group:

As part of our strategic planning process, the Archivist here has asked
me to solicit opinions from University Archivists on two topics of
interest here.

First, how do you utilize your user statistics? What categories of use
do you tabulate? How about web site statistics? How are your statistics
presented, e.g. annual reports, meeting presentations. How are these
presentations designed e.g. Power Point, etc. Does the presentation of
your statistics have any impact on administrators or management? What is
the most effective means of showcasing your user activity?

What are your plans for updating or upgrading your payment methods due
to increased Internet requests from users. Will you employ the use of
credit cards for payment. How will this operate? Are there any automated
software products that could be utilized to make reference transactions
and payments more streamlined?

Thanks for looking at these issues. Best wishes.
