Wednesday wierdness



While the earthquake near Seattle just over an hour ago is serious news, a
geology-challenged local radio DJ added a bit of unintentional levity to it
when he reported a "major earthquake centered ->over<- Seattle."

Must have studied geology at the same school as the TV reporter who, in the
aftermath of a major quake on a previously unknown fault in southern
California, asked a geologist how many more unknown faults there were . . .
