Looking For That Perfect Place

Greetings, all!

I have been in contact with an elderly African-American woman
who was born and raised in middle- and western Missouri. She
has her mother's diary (as well as her own 'baby-book' circa
1916) that documents daily life in the late 19th and early 20th
centuries in that area. Is there anyone here who might be interested?
(That region falls somewhat outside our focus here.)

Also, in the 1980s and 1990s she was involved with the local
'Peace and Justice' folks and made some trips to Cuba, Grenada,
and Nicaragua, where she took some photos that were later
used in some exhibits here and in Mississippi. Again, this is
out of our purview.

Please email me if you are interested, and I will pass your contact
info on to her (she is not online and of course doesn't want her
phone number broadcast willy-nilly). And finally, she doesn't
expect to sell these items. Her interest (and mine) is solely
to get them into an appropriate place or places.

P.S. & N.B. I have not seen the original items, yet.
