Re: Help needed - promotion(?) opportunity



Tom,

 Sounds like the board wants to combine two positions into one and save
some salary. Is that correct? If so you have to weigh out the benefits of
some increase in salary vs the probability of working overtime frequently.
Can one person accomplish all of what has to be done? If not will the
board be understanding or will you be held responsible?

 You might consider going for a replacement for yourself at a lower salary
than what you currently make. This way the books will balance and you
won't be taking work home with you every night.
