Anti-static products for archival use

We are about to start a large project placing brittle items into Mylar
L-sealed sleeves. I just received the sleeves, and discovered there is
quite a bit of static cling.

There are anti-static cloths, brushes, gloves, etc., available on the web,
often through companies that handle plastic and film products. Does anyone
know whether any of these products leave a residue, or cause any problems?

My thought was to reduce the static on the interior of the sleeve in order
to allow the paper items to slide in more easily, but I don't want to cause
problems down the road.

Thanks for any help! It goes without saying that the project is scheduled
to begin on Monday morning.
