cigar boxes

I have kind of a weird question, but today has been kind of a weird day. I
am the reference librarian at my library, but I also do archival work. I
recently discovered after working in my library for about a year and a half,
that we have a big box full of cigar boxes. They are of various brands and
types of cigars and are probably all in excess of 20 years old. Is there
anything significant about cigar boxes which would make them appropriate for
a pharmacy archives? Thanks for any info. :)
