We went for a drive this morning along some fields in northern Catawba
County. We had many Grasshopper and Savannah Sparrows. We got some pretty
good photos of a Grasshopper Sparrow that you can view by going here:

Also, we were awakened this morning by the call of a Chuck-will's-widow in
the woods behind our house.
