Greetings:
I had the opportunity to travel along the Blue Ridge Parkway between
Asheville and Cherokee on Thursday, June 7. I was thrilled to see two
adult ruffed grouse and two "chicks". I was also able to briefly
observe the Peregrine Falcons at Devil's Courthouse. Unfortunately,
the weather was terrible and I did not have a scope, so I will plan to
return and get a better look on another day.
