The Migratory Bird Treaty Act prohibits me from possessing a feather of a
migratory bird, and it prohibits me from transporting an injured bird to a
rehabber. Can someone explain to me why it is not illegal for a loggers,
developers, and governments to destroy nests, and probably the birds as
well? Recently, the City of Fayetteville, using machines from hell,
destroyed every living thing along a 20 foot easement (they took 35 to 40
feet) right down to the water of a creek. I haven't heard a Wood Thrush
since.
