FW: Green-tailed Towhee

Some friends and I watched the green-tailed towhee from 11:25 until about
11:50 this morning, Saturday. We waited just over 30 minutes before it
appeared. Besides the species reported by Brian, we saw1 male and 2 female
cardinals, 2 female red-winged blackbirds, and 1 brown thrasher enjoying the
feast.

We threw the customary seed before we left. Thanks, Brian, for replenishing
the supply.

Folks,

Dr. Dan Hudson and I got great looks at the Towhee this morning. (8:00
o'clock sharp!) The bird was always appearing from the right side, and
gave us incredible looks. We stayed for an hour, and the bird appeared
several times. The feed can was about half full, so I throwed some
seed, and replenished the supply.

We also saw the White-crowned, Swamp, Song, and White-throated Sparrows.
No Buntings were present at this time.
