more from Bob

My Bobwhites seem to be extra active this year (or I am outside more due to
an increase in gardening). Yesterday I was in the kitchen when a loud thump
came from the sliding glass doors in the dining room. I had failed to pull
the blinds partially closed. My cat, who usually sits drooling at the birds
on the deck, came flying through the kitchen like he'd seen a ghost. I
went to check it out and there was "Bob", a little dazed, hopping off the
deck and back into the pasture. Later in the evening there was a cascading
symphony of quail chatter coming from many directions.

Because I have plans to use more pasture for an expanding garden, can
someone please point me toward native plants I can add to compensate for
reducing the bobwhite habitat?

Thanks
