Re: Hermit Thrush and Brown Thrasher at Peanut Butter-Cornmeal Feeder

Hi Barbara,
Even before the snow, Hermie the hermit thrush came to
my peanut butter-cornmeal mixture. Now I put out
Bluebird Treat in a pie tin and he loves that, as do
the yellow rumps and wrens and pine warblers.Bluebird
treat is little worm-like suet mixture made with suet,
raisins and peanuts I buy at Outdoor Bird Co. where I
work. This is the first year he has come to the
feeders.I have seen him at the black oil sunflower
seed, but never seen him try to eat it. He just stands
where he has seen the other birds.
