While they weren't expected for a few days yet, a Ruby-throated Hummingbird
arrived in Morris Creek this afternoon. He was spotted sipping nectar twice
just as dusk grew into dark.
Among the other pleasant surprises today, I heard a lustily singing
Black-and-white Warbler and several Parulas in northern Richland county on
my drive into work this morning.
