finally made it to the gravel pit pond to see what might have landed but
was disappointed. The Mute swan is still there but also had a male Am.
Widgeon plus three other ducks I couldn't ID. Hens of some sort. Crosby
(the horse) was especially unruly today making looking hard. Thousands of
butterflies made up for the lack of birds. I still have hummers but they
must be females or immatures. Duck report from NW Orange co. and hummers
in Hillsborough. barb
