41 species were seen and/or heard on a cloudy and very windy day. The most
interesting were; 2 adult Bald Eagles near nest and flying ( A baby was seen
on the nest on 2/21 ), Great Horned Owl on nest ( no baby yet ), 1 Hermit
Thrush, 1 Loggerhead Shrike, 1 White-eyed Vireo, and 2 pine Warblers. Many
common species were hard to find today probably due to the weather. Also,
we are seeing evidence of a Beaver at the park.
