Larry Walsh, John's father:  He did a lot of things people like me will never do.

Too many places to mention...

John saw a lot of the world through his travels in the Marine Corps: Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Germany, England, UAE, toured Petra, went on a safari in Kenya, Kuwait, too many places to mention. The Marines offered him some chances for other experiences. He flew under the Golden Gate Bridge, flew in a Gene Hackman movie, Behind Enemy Lines, in a Huey helicopter, herded zebras on the plains of Africa, and buffalo in Camp Pendleton—with the Cobra, of course. He landed many times on carriers at sea. He flew 100 miles off shore at night to land on a carrier—that will get your heart beating.
