Good Morning, Dorothy; with Alaska Humus we add oat flour to start fungi growth. Would it do the same when added to vermi compost or castings? It only takes 3 days or so to find out and the results are clearly visible. Let us know? Has anyone proven this works? Bob

good compost tea base?

Having some portion of the feed stock carboard/paper
is a start. Elaine's comments about most worm compost
being high sugar suggests that they would be primarily
bacterial, rather than fungal, right?

I wondered if anyone had experience with other
ingredients that promote fungal vermicompost and
improve its value for plants? Also, what porportions
have worked for others? Thanks, Dorothy
