Hi Bob,

My experience with fermenting beneficial anaerobic microbes is
limited to using an innoculation of stock microbes, usually EM
(Effective Microorganisms). The fermentation takes place in a
temperature controlled environment (80 to 100 degrees) and the usual
food stuffs of molasses, kelp, fish hydrolisate (sp?), etc. are
used. The pH is monitored to ensure no bad microbes infiltrate. One
great benefit is that it can be stored for 6 months or more, once it
has finished actively fermenting. If you wish to read some
literature start with 'emrousa.com'.

Steve has much more knowledge and information than I concerning more
regionally based, from scratch beneficial anaerobic 'teas or
concoctions' so perhaps he can point you in the right drection for
reading material.

Your thinking process is not wrong in relation to ACT. It is, as you
know, critical to provide sufficient O2 to give the aerobic microbes
the upper hand. Keep up your good work.
