Respectfully Fred, I disagree. L-P's "Innerseal" really is a lousy product,
but not because it is wood, or even because it is "engineered wood". It is
lousy becuase it has been carelessly and incorrectly marketed. L-P have
represented "Innerseal" as an OSB exterior cladding system. OSB is a fine
material - so long as it does NOT GET WET. Cladding gets wets; that's what
its job in life is. Therefore "Innerseal" is a lousy product.

This is rather important. I hope that none of you on this list , or
anywhere else (I'm not usually so dogmatic) get burned with this product.
L-P have to date put $370 million into a class action settlement to appease
dumbo's like me who some years ago specified "Innerseal" for exactly the
reasons that you gave, Fred.
