Free Admission and ample free parking for cars and busses

The museum is wheelchair and stroller accessible

Guides are available to conduct tours for individuals and small groups

Organized groups are invited to enjoy guided tours and educational programs. Tours and most programs are free. Groups are urged to schedule tours in at least one week in advance. To schedule a tour or program, call the Adult and Family Program Coordinator at (704) 923-8103 ext. 1.

Gaston County School System Teachers can schedule curriculum-based programs by contacting the School Educator at (704) 922-7681.

Home-style and fast foods are available at nearby restaurants.

The Museum Shop carries interesting and affordable souvenirs and books.

Information and printed walking guide to the Dallas National Register of Historic Places District is available upon request.

Curatorial staff are available by appointment for informal consultation regarding artifacts or research. However, time constraints limit staff accessibility for personal research projects. Staff cannot offer appraisals or information regarding the monetary value of artifacts.
